CEIT Ltd. was founded in Bratislava in 1992. It was oriented to data conversion and processing and creation of databases, mainly in the areas of water management and environment. Since 1993 the Corporation extended its operations to the development of the software PROFLIB for complete library and information systems, terminology, dictionaries, norms, and legislative. We are participating actively on more international projects as PROFLIB-based IT suppliers. Besides of software solutions, data applications are made for the water-management sector, e.g., Multilingual Water-Management Dictionary and Water-Management Standards (1998 – 2005).

In 2004 CEIT won the tender for national delivery of a system for small and medium libraries.
